Difficult Posts-

Okay when I edited these in my photoshop they were the right way and when I post them in my blog they are turned-why is this? I am sorry-but if you just want to ignore my inability to rotate my pictures you can just skip this post, and I am so sorry. The pots are little gifts for the sectretaries at school for sectretaries day towards the end of April. They are just little pots filled with beans that have pens in them. The other is a magnetic board that I made that hangs in our kitchen. I put current pictures up when I get them and it is kind of fun. A lot easier than putting them in and out of picture frames.
Today our school had the annual "cow-a-bunga." It is a fund raiser for the school. They sell raffle tickets for $20 each and you buy a square in a field. They let a cow out and where ever she decides to do her duty that is the winner-well it was cold-the poor cow had stage fright-I would too with an audience of 500 and it took 2 hours. FINALLY she did it and Global Travel won $20,000. The school sold 2600 squares for the sale. What a way to make a lot of money! Only in Montana!
Hope you had a great weekend-, and sorry again about the posts-I know a great chiropractor!!!!

Thank you Stephanie

The other day I got the most beautiful package in the mail. To go back, about a month ago I asked Stephanie Ackerman of "Home and Heart Magazine" (hint hint-in the newstands now) to do one of her amazing doodles on an album for my son's kindergarten teacher that we are working on. She said sure, and I demanded that I pay her. She said okay, $25. I sent a check for $35 to cover shipping. On top of the package was my check with a note that said, "Thank you for letting me do this." Thank me for asking? Wow? She is amazing and does such a beautiful job. The cover has all the little names of each student on it. Thank you Steph you are such a great person-I will get even with you !!!!!
Today was a busy day, swimming with the kids, working on a few projects, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Laundry, Memory, eating at Ciao Mambo ( great food if you haven't eaten there) and Bowling. Okay I am the WORLDS worst bowler and Amber and Jared can attest to this-but I was the family winner tonight-Ike was quite upset that I smoked him-but my lil man was proud of his mom. Then to cap the night off I am going to scrapbook easter layouts and watch some March Madness - GO UNC Tarheels -love them! Have a good night.

A couple new projects-
The green and yellow basket was created by my friend Krista-She made it for Ike because he was such a big Brett Favre follower-It was loaded with everything you can think of cheese related-"cheese heads" and then she stocked it with green and yellow candy, eggs, peeps- and the grand prize was a "thanks for the memories #4" scrapbook with all of his stats-pictures etc. Amazing-how sweet is she.
The second is an address book that I made for Michelle at our office. It is her
40th birthday this weekend and we had a little party for her at the office today. Happy 40th Michelle!!!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Easter Fun-
I have made a slide show of our Easter Weekend-Our children are "shirtless" because it is a tradition to have them dye eggs without their clothes-so they don't ruin them. So most of the pictures are of the kids coloring eggs. We had so much fun. They had two egg hunts-One at Washoe Park in Anaconda and another at Nana and Papas House. The little boy is their cousin Sean-Josh and Stacie Regans little boy- They had so much fun and had a blast coloring eggs-I hope you all had a Happy Easter-and oh yeah-Home and Heart the magazine is out in stores now-get your issue today. It is full of fun papercrafting ideas-Have a good week

Star Girl Retreat

Okay what is up with Star Girl-
In order to attend my retreat this past weekend at Sundance we had to read the Book "Star Girl" I will post a pic. of it later. It is a young adult book-very easy read, and everyone should read it. Anyway that was our theme. I had a great trip-got in on Wed. Lisa took me to me to lunch at the Joseph Smith memorial building, went shopping at Rod Works, A tour of CK Media-I was in heaven-had so much fun looking at the office where all the work is published and sent out. For those of you who aren't scrapbookers: CK Media is the publishing company for Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Home and Heart (saw it and love it Steph), Papercrafts, and I think thats it. They also house all of Lisas QVC stuff- It was so fun to finally see it. Then a fun filled night with the Bearnsons and American Idol. The weekend was filled with a lot of laughter and a lot of tears-Everyone needs to laugh like that - A lot of good food and amazing people. On the way home my luggage didn't make the flight. I finally got it yesterday. Saturday, was the Egg Hunt and a huge family dinner. I will post Easter pic. tomorrow- Hope you all had a great weekend.

Check out my Slide Show!

Counting Down the Minutes

I am so excited for my retreat-Lisa Bearnson-oh my gosh-I can hardly stand it-she is one of the nicest, friendlist people I know and I love her-she just e-mailed me and said-oh my I think I forgot your birthday-she woke up in the middle of the night last night and panicked-Lil ol me-Lisa- and no she did not forget-She is friendly with everyone and despite all the fame she has worked hard to achieve-she is the most down to earth person I know-!I am packed-the kids are packed for the weekend-Easter Egg Hunt and Family dinner in Anaconda-
You know it is really hard to pack to travel on the airplane for a scrapbook retreat-Because all of the pokey things; brads, paper piercers, staplers-all terrorist related items that aren't allowed anymore-besides what if I forget something? I am worried about the entire traveling process-but I will just relax, breathe and enjoy myself!!
Thanks to Carrie Godfrey who helped me on a project I am bringing to the Bearnson Family-her vinyl machine is awesome-and she does them for anybody-so if you want vinyl signs she is the gal-her link is on my favorite places to visit and she can do any sign you can imagine-what a sweetie-
My little love helped me today run a swarm of errands and I love having her home with me for a while-they grow up too fast-
My lil man had a great St. Pats day-One of the fathers of a classmate of his plays the Bag-Pipes and they performed today at school it was sooo cool-skirt and all-and he was lucky the little leprechaun left them a pot of gold- (candy) BAD BAD for your teeth little leprechaun-but let loose dental hygienist and let the child live a little-
Okay I am rambling-sorry it is late and I am pooped-
Good Night

Had a little time tonight so I thought I would do something fun-I have been dying to use this new little book from Making Memories.( yes Amber I have had it for longer than one day-but you know how I am) It is called a spiral journaling book. A little book with a bunch of different papers-so I thought I would create cards with them-How fun! Busy day at work today, and school, and doing payroll, 30 games of memory-it was so cute I was letting my four year old win-because she NEVER gets to win when she plays with her brother-and she saw that I wasn't winning very many pairs-so she whispered (even though we were the only ones in the room) "mama check under these two cards." After I got the pair (thanks to her) she said "your sure a good player." What a little sweetie-she did win all of the games! Have a great day towmorrow!
