Okay. . .I think that being sick has thrown me way off course.
That is why my room looks like this photo. I have 21 bags for my
kindergarten dental health speech, staff easter gifts, books for my
retreat in a couple weeks, my son's kindergarten teacher's scrapbook
that we are putting together, and 35 baby cards . . . and I promised
myself that I would not clean up until it was all over. The last
pic. is a Easter picture of my sweeties. . . that oh yeah go in those
10 Easter books that we are also working on. Hopefully some of this
gets done this weekend. Even though it may seem like I am complaining
I wouldn't change it for the world. I like having too many things going
on. It is just in my nature-to be overwhelmed and loving it. Otherwise
I would be calling my dear friend Amber 40 times a day and bugging
her-so I guess she is probably pretty thankful also. Okay I am
going on and on and it is time for bed.

It feels like I haven't posted FOREVER!~Well I have an excuse. .
No not morning sickness . . . INFLUENZA A -Yucky, yucky, yucky.
Today I worked a partial day and I think I am on the road to recovery.
I have posted 3 new bags I have made and a little Easter surprise that
I am working on with the kids. . .Yes they have been cutting, pasting,
coloring, you name it. I hope you are all having a good Monday-

Okay. . .I think I am once again among the living.
I have been sick, and I am SICK of being SICK, if
you don't know me I am not a good "sitter" I don't
care to sit in front of the TV, and I finished the
book I was reading, and my family went skiing today
(to leave me here to get better) so I decided to
come down to my room and try to do SOMETHING...
I did this little thinking of you set. I made
5 different cards that go with it. I am planning
on filling the can with something YUMMY. The other
post is my favorite quote, and it is on my wall near
our family room. My friend Carrie Godfrey made
it for my with her vinyl machine and I love it! I hope
you are all doing well.

I am noticing visitors on this site from all over the world-

traveled both ways with us, to and from school.
The kids were gems on the way in-
On the ride home the true colors started to fly-at one time
during the interview I noticed backpacks flying across the back
of the suburban-tried to remain calm and drive safe. It is going to
air on Valentines Day-I really hope they can edit that tape!!!

Happy Wednesday-I have just posted a couple of projects-One old and one new-
The red little album is a collection of photos of the kids last year. They are
covered with playing cards, attatched with a ring and ribbon. On the back of the cards I went through the alphabet and for each letter wrote a description about them.
The second project is a felt mini-album I created last night. Okay-I thought this would be an easy little task.... Wrong sewing felt is very hard for me. It moves and stretches-so if anyone has any tips PLEASE post to me!! The book is titled I Love and the inside has little plastic sleeves to change in and out my fav pics-Hope you are having a good day-Tomorrow the news channel is going to ride into school with us-(don't ask) our neighbor Mark who works for KPAX channel 8 asked if we would let them drive or follow us on a morning commute-they are looking at the traffic flow problems here and they want to follow someone on a morning drive-So I have already been prepping my kids-no DVD, no fighting, and PLEASE be on your best behavior-So I guess I won't be eating my breakfast and making phone calls on the drive in tomorrow-Say a little prayer that we don't have any major melt downs or vomiting accidents on the route in! Oh I am so excited. My friend Stephanie Ackerman - The wonderful brains and work behind "Homegrown Hospitality" Doodled my title-what a beautiful job she did. She is amazing! Look for her newest issue of Homegrown Hospitality to be on the shelves in March-great ideas and fun things to do! Hope you are having a great week. I'll post some more pictures later!

Some new items that I have been working on. The top card is my card for our card group this month. All making memories except the ribbon-I stamped and the thank you tag is from Walmart (in the Wedding section). The other card is just a fun one that I made. The bag I made in a class that I took. I then made 6 more for our staff at our office for Christmas Presents. I love the fabric. It is Amy Butler Fabric and it was so nice to sew with. Today I substitue taught at my son's school and it was a lot of fun. I was the Library Teacher! Happy Monday to you all - I hope you have a fantastic week! Carrie

It has been a really LONG time since I last wrote-actually forgot about this site-but I really have to get things a movin-pictures are going to be my goal and I have to start writing more than a couple of times a year.
The Packers just lost-what a huge bummer-I really wanted to see Brett Farve beat Brady in the super bowl-but I guess it's up to Eli now- I was hoping a praying that the field goal kicker would miss his 3rd-but luck didn't have it!
Well I am off for now to try and figure out how to post pictures in my site that aren't gigantic-

OK here it goes, my first post in my blog-we'll see how this turns out, considering I am blog-non-functional. I don't know if that is a term-but I attempting to get a blog set up for my scrapbook projects and ideas to be shared. I hope this all goes through and we'll set up some pictures real soon!
